Patty Flauto has years of experience in entrepreneurship, product design and innovation. Her product development expertise is the cornerstone of her successful consulting practice, "creativity+innovation+design". Her clients rely on her to develop and implement strategies for innovation and creativity.
She is currently a registered facilitator at the Kent State University Center for Corporate and Professional Development. She is an adjunct instructor at both Virginia Marti College of Art & Design and Cuyahoga Community College.
She is a past board member of the Color Marketing Group, an international organization that forecasts color and design trends, and a founding member of THINK, a New York-based trend forecasting group that is by invitation only.
Patty received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University and her Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Youngstown State University.
Patty's experience and knowledge on creativity and innovation topics are the foundation for her Training and Development sessions “The Creative Edge”.
These programs focus on a variety of tools and techniques that are practical and usable in any environment. These tools can be used by individuals or teams to find creative solutions for any challenge.

Patty is the past Creative Director of Design at American Greetings. While at American Greetings, she managed a large staff in the creation of new work for American Greetings’ products.
She was the 2004 recipient of the American Greetings Grand Award In Innovation for developing a new business venture for creative paper crafts.
